Masks are no longer required for visitors who have completed the Covid-19 vaccination process.
Wearing masks is only required for unvaccinated teens and adults, and all children under the age of 12. This is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirement. Disposable masks are available in the Library
Social distancing is recommended.
Some, but not all, seating and services have been returned for use. Please bear with us as we shift practices within the framework of many changes of the past 15 months.
A message from the Library Board of Directors: Masks are still required for all who visit OPL.
Since many of our members and visitors are children, who are not yet able to be vaccinated, we have decided to continue our current policies and procedures requiring masks for all through the WCSD 2020-2021 school year.
Any change to Board guidance regarding wearing masks will be shared as we get closer to June 25. Effective Wednesday May 19, 2021
The library is open to the public and you can pick up your holds anytime during our open hours.
But with the continuing pandemic we offer limited services and Grab & Go pick-up.
- We accept requests for materials you seek to borrow by phone and online form.
- OWWL system holds placed online are processed daily, too.
- OWWL system-wide deliveries from the 41 other OWWL libraries to OPL have been increased to three deliveries a week!
- More information about scheduling your pick-up is here.
