Ontario Annual Holiday Tree Lighting

Wednesday, December 3rd at 5:45PM, downtown Ontario (Ridge Rd. between Furnace Rd. & Knickerbocker Rd). The Ontario Annual Tree Lighting is hosted by the Ontario Business Improvement District, the Ontario Recreation Department and the Ontario Public Library.

Celebrate the season with a Truck Parade, Cookie Decorating, Scavenger Hunt, special guest performers, treats and more!

Activities & Approximate Times

  • Cookie Decorating at Cam’s Pizzeria with Miss Anne and Miss Emily from the Ontario Public Library- 6:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m.
  • Scavenger Hunt through Downtown Businesses – Start Early & visit all Sticker Stop Businesses to fill up your passport book for a raffle prize – 5:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Truck Parade – On Ridge Rd. starting at Knickerbocker and ending at the Tree
  • Music on the Street featuring the Doze Guyz DJs
  • Tree Lighting around 7:00 p.m. with Special Guests!

Scavenger Hunt begins on Monday, 11/17: 

How to Play:

  • Pick up your Passport Books at Cam’s Pizzeria or the Library
  • Visit the businesses in the Passport Book and get a sticker at each one
  • After you finish getting all of your stickers, fill out your raffle sheet and turn it in at the Wayne Education Foundation Table
  • Winners will be announced at the DJ booth after Santa Arrives
  • You must be present at the DJ booth to win a prize
