Library Updates

The Ontario Public Library will be closed starting December 22, 2025 until completion of main room construction project. To find out more go to our Construction Information page.

The library will be closing at 3pm on Wednesday, November 26 and closed all day Thursday, November 27, Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29. Items can be returned in the book drop located in the back of Town/Library Building. The library will reopen on Monday, December 1 at 10am.

Thursday, November 13 at 5pm, we will be holding an informal meeting in the Library Community room to answer questions about our 2026 Main room construction project. The meeting is open to anyone but if you can’t make the meeting feel free to stop by the library anytime and ask about the renovations.
